Nació en Montevideo, Uruguay, en 1984. Estudió Ciencias
de la Comunicación y realizó distintos talleres sobre
crítica cinematográfica y escritura periodística. Desde
2008 integra la redacción del diario El País, el medio
de mayor importancia y tiraje en Uruguay. Publica
perfiles, críticas, entrevistas e informes en la sección
Espectáculos, en la revista SÁBADO SHOW y en el
suplemento de investigación QUÉ PASA. También
colabora para otros medios como la revista QUIROGA
/ ROCKET. Se especializó en el estudio de la historia y
el funcionamiento del cine uruguayo y sus instituciones
en comparación con modelos regionales. Colaboró y
dirigió varios portales de noticias al respecto, y obtuvo
un premio del Ministerio de Educación y Cultura para
dirigir, coordinar y editar una revista digital que entrevistó,
filmó y fotografió a cincuenta y cinco personalidades del
cine nacional. GUÍA 50 fue un proyecto elogiado por sus
protagonistas, colegas y autoridades. Integra la directiva
de la Asociación de Críticos de Cine del Uruguay.
Participó en la organización de festivales locales, y ha
sido jurado y periodista.
She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1984. Graduated
fromCommunication Sciences and participated in
diverse film criticism and journalismworkshops. Since
2008 joins to the editorial department of EL PAIS, the
most important and distributed journal in Uruguay. She
writes profiles, criticism, interviews and reports at the
Entertainment section, the magazine SABADO SHOW
and at the research supplement QUÉ PASA. She also
collaborates for other media such as QUIROGA/ROCKET.
She specialized in history and functionality of Uruguayan
cinema and its institutions in comparison with regional
models. She collaborated and directed several news
platforms and was awarded by the Education and Culture
Ministry of Uruguay with the direction, coordination and
editor in chief of a digital magazine that interviewed,
filmed and photographed fifty five personalities of
Uruguayan cinema. GUIA 50 was a project praised by the
mainly involved, colleagues and authorities. She is part
of the Uruguayan FilmCritics Association. She is being
involved in local film festival productions, as a jury and as
a journalist.
