Marisa Paredes comenzó a actuar en 1960 en el film 091
POLICÍA AL HABLA, se convirtió en un ídolo adolescente
por toda España después de dicha película, ha
participado en más de 73 films y programas de televisión.
Ha participado solo ocasionalmente en televisión
española y normalmente como ella misma en
Culebrones mejor conocidas como telenovelas y tuvo
el rol protagonista de LA PEREGRINA. Ha aparecido
en muchos y muy aclamados films incluyendo TRAS
EL CRISTAL, ENTRE TINIEBLAS, TACONES LEJANOS,
LA FLOR DE MI SECRETO y de Guillermo del Toro
EL ESPINAZODEL DIABLO. Sin embargo es mejor
reconocida por TODO SOBRE MI MADRE, LA PIEL
QUE HABITO Y LA VIDA ES BELLA. En 1996 recibió un
reconocimiento de FilmNacional por el ministro de
Cultura en España y del 2000 al 2003 fue presidenta
de la academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas
de España.

POLICE SPEECH, she became a teen idol across Spain
after the film has participated in more than 73 films and
television shows. She has participated only occasionally
in Spanish television and usually as herself in Soap
Operas better known as Culebrones in Spain and had
the leading role of LA PEREGRINA. She has appeared on
many critically acclaimed films including BEHIND THE
GLASS, DARK HABITS, HIGH HEELS, THE FLOWER OF
MY SECRET and Guillermo del Toro DEVIL’S BACKBONE.
However it is best known for ALL ABOUTMYMOTHER,
THE SKIN I LIVE IN, and LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. In 1996 she
received an award from the National Film by the Minister
of Culture of Spain and from 2000 to 2003 was president
of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
of Spain.
