Empezó su carrera como directora de reparto en la
película, MAN ON FIRE (2004), para el Director Tony Scott.
Desde entonces, ha sido responsable de seleccionar
el reparto en películas tan notables como INNOCENT
VOICES (2004), 7 DAYS (2005), NEVER ON A SUNDAY
(2006), APOCALYPTO (2006), BANDIDAS (2006), CHE
(2008), SIN NOMBRE (2009), INHALE (2010) y BLESS ME,
ÚLTIMA (2013). También eligió el reparto de la segunda
temporada de Eastbound & Down de HBO.
Ha colaborado con los directores Chris Weitz,
Carl Franklin, Jody Hill, David Gordon Green, Luis
Mandoki, Jared Hess, Pete Travis, Simón Brand, Marco
Kreuzpaintner, Richard Shepard, Alfonso Arau, Emilio
Maillé, Carlos Cuarón y Mel Gibson.
Carla es ampliamente reconocida por su interés
internacional en la industria del cine y la televisión. Carla
vive y trabaja de tiempo completo en Los Ángeles pero
continúa trabajando en proyectos internacionales con
fuertes afiliaciones de reparto en México, Colombia,
Brasil, Argentina, España, entre otras.
Carla began her career as a casting director in the movie
