Crítica cinematográfica, miembro de FIPRESCI,
SEPANCINE y REDIC. Llegó a Guadalajara, México,
para integrarse como docente al Goethe-Institut y,
donde cursó la maestría en Enseñanza de la Lengua y la
Literatura. En 1986 participó en la fundación del FESTIVAL
INTERNACIONAL DE CINE EN GUADALAJARA
(FICG), y coordinó el área educativa del CENTRODE
INVESTIGACIÓN Y ENSEÑANZA CINEMATOGRÁFICAS
de la UNIVERSIDAD DE GUADALAJARA. Como crítica
de cine publica una columna semanal en MILENIO
Jalisco y participa desde hace treinta años en el
programa de radio y televisión A LAS NUEVE CON
USTED de C7. Como investigadora ha publicado
artículos en las revistas TOMA, ERGO SUM, MAGIS y
SINÉCTICA y en los libros colectivos ÓPERA PRIMA
EN EL CINE DOCUMENTAL IBEROAMERICANO, y EL
DIÁLOGOCOMOOBJETODE ESTUDIO. En 2013 la
Universidad Metropolitana UAM publicó su libro EL
CORTOMETRAJE: EL ARTE DE NARRAR, EMOCIONAR
Y SIGNIFICAR, en el que revisa las estrategias narrativas
del cortometraje.

She moved to Guadalajara, México to teach German and
coordinate academic and film activities at the Goethe
- Institute. In 1986 she participated in the Guadalajara
International Film Festival’s foundation and coordinated
academic area of the CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND
FILM STUDIES of the UNIVERSITY OF GUADALAJARA.
She runs a weekly film critique column for the newspaper
MILENIO, and has been collaborating for over 30 years
in C7, a public radio and television station in Jalisco, on
the programA LAS NUEVE CON USTED. Her work has
been published in magazines like TOMA, ERGO SUM,
MAGIS and SINÉCTICA and in the collective books FIRST
WORK IN THE IBEROAMERICAN DOCUMENTARY
FILM and DIALOGUE AS AN OBJECT OF STUDY. In 2013
the UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMAMETROPOLITANA,
published her book THE SHORT FILM: THE ART OF
NARRATION, EMOTION AND SIGNIFICATION in which
she makes a revision about narrative strategies in short
films.
