Municipal Governmentsof Zapopan
andGuadalajara, inaddition toother
institutions interested insupporting the
different audiovisual artmanifestations
of theworld. This festival haswon the

occasions. Sheworked in theUniversity
ofGuadalajara’sAudiovisual Production
Office from1998 to2007asaudiovisual
producer of severalworks, suchasshort
films, televisionspots, andvideoclips,
and in2005 in thecreationandproduction
of thealternative televisionshowOzma,
whichaired from2005 to2007onseveral
local andnational channels. Shehas
taughtAudiovisual Production, Thesis
Development, andTelevisionProduction
in theAudiovisualMediaCenter. In2009,
sheobtained thegrant of theArtistic
CreationandDevelopment Incentive
ProgramofCONACULTAand the
Secretariat ofCultureof theGovernment
of theStateof Jalisco in thecategoryof
AccomplishedCreators - Video. Shehas
won theYoungCreatorsGrant of the
FONCA/CONACULTA twice (2002-03
and2006-07) in theareaofAudiovisual
Media - Video.Her experimental film
Yoswonfirst prize in that category in the
LatinAmericanVideoFestival ofRosario,
Argentina in2004. Shehasparticipatedas
juror inseveral audiovisual art events, such
as thecallmadeby theUnit of Special
Projects for VideoArt, Video Installation,
andVideoPerformanceprojects in2003,
alongsideDavidRoss (Americancurator)
andPedroMeyer (Mexicanphotographer),
and in theFirstAnimationandVideo
GamesFestival Creanimax in2006.
Shecurrentlyworks for theGuadalajara
International FilmFestival,whereshehas
runTalentCampusGuadalajarasince the
first edition, anactivity incollaboration
with theBerlinaleTalentCampus that
iscarriedout annuallyduring theBerlin
International FilmFestival. Shealso
coordinates thedocumentary training
lab,DoculabGuadalajara. Shewas the
producer of JuanJoséMedinaDávalos’s
animationJaulas (Cages),winner of
best animatedshort film in theHuesca
International FilmFestival,Mexico’s
AcademyofMotionPictureArtsand
SciencesARIEL,Guadalajara International
FilmFestival,Guanajuato International Film
Festival ExpresiónenCorto,HavanaFilm
Festival, PalmSprings International Film
