Cuba, fromPoland’sScriptEast toGermany’sLeipzigDocandBerlin’sTalentCampus,
fromCartagena, Columbia toCannes, France. Jan’spopular pitchingworkshopshave
now found their place in themusic industryas“ExportReady”workshops for artists
andmanagers fromCanada’sEastCoastMusicAssociation to itsWestCoastMusic
Association. Most recentlyJancompleted15yearsasarchitect andDirector of the
AtlanticFilmFestival’sStrategicPartners, oneof theworld’spre-eminent co-production
markets.WhileservingasSPDirector, Jancollaboratedwith theErichPommer Institut
todesignandpresent thehugelysuccessful TransAtlanticPartners, a threemodule
trainingprogram in international co-productionandco-venturing,with IFPNYasa

Janwasalso instrumental indesigningandservingasExecutiveDirector of oneof

Prizeprograms. During this time, she foundedand ran theLocal Heroes International
ScreenFestival for 13years. Janhaswonnumerousawards for her achievements

Excellence inTraining/Professional Development andmost recently, theWIFT-ATWave
Award for her remarkablecontributionandsupport of theAtlanticscreen industry. At the
endof her tenure inAlbertaJanalso receivedAMPIA’sprestigiousDaveBillingtonAward
for her remarkable leadershipandcontribution to that province’sscreen industry. She
served3yearson theAtlanticFilmFestival Board, 9yearson theCanadianConference
of theArtsBoard including2yearsasnational president, servedon the inaugural Cultural
HumanResourcesCouncil Board, theCFCNProductionFundBoard for 5yearsand the
ShawBroadcast FundBoard. PresentlyJansitson theBoardof FirstWeekendClub
