localesynacionales.Ha impartidoclasesdeProducción
Audiovisual, RealizacióndeTesisyRealizaciónTelevisiva
enel CentrodeMediosAudiovisuales. A iniciosdel 2009
obtuvo labecadel ProgramadeEstímuloa laCreación
yel DesarrolloArtísticodeCONACULTAy laSecretaría
deCulturadel Gobiernodel EstadodeJalisco, en
Shecreatedand ran theCHROMA International Audiovisual Art Festival,
whichcelebrated its tenthand last annual edition in2008 inGuadalajara
city, independentlywith thesupport ofCONACULTA (National Council for
CultureandArts) and theUniversityofGuadalajara, inaddition toother public
andprivate institutions. This festivalwon theSupport forCultural Promo-
tionandCo-investmentsofCONACULTAon four occasions. Sheworked in
theUniversityofGuadalajara’sAudiovisual ProductionOffice from1998 to
2007asaudiovisual producer of severalworks, suchasshort films, television
spots, andvideoclipsand in thecreationandproductionof thecultural tele-
visionmagazine“Ozma“,whichaired from2005 to2007onseveral local
andnational channels. Shehas taught Production, ThesisDevelopment, and
TelevisionProduction in theAudiovisualMediaCenter inGuadalajara. Shehas
won theYoungCreatorsGrant of theFONCA/CONACULTA twice (2002-03
and2006-07) in theareaofAudiovisualMedia - Video.Her experimental film
“Yos“wonfirst prize in that category in theLatinAmericanVideoFestival of
Rosario, Argentina in2004. Shehasparticipatedas juror inseveral audiovisu-
al art events, suchas thecallmadeby theUnit of Special Projects for Video
Art, Video Installation, andVideoPerformanceprojects in2003, alongside
DavidRoss (Americancurator) andPedroMeyer (Mexicanphotographer).
Shecurrentlyworkshalf ayear for theGuadalajara International FilmFesti-
val,whereshehas runTalentCampusGuadalajarasince thefirst edition, an

andaSpecialMention in theSanSebastiánFilmFestival. In2009, sheob-
tained thegrant of theArtisticCreationandDevelopment IncentiveProgram
ofCONACULTAand theSecretariat ofCultureof theStateof Jalisco in the
categoryofAccomplishedCreators–Video,withwhichshemade thevideo
“Sueña“. Shewasmember of theselectioncommitteeof theBerlinaleTalent
Campus for the2011and2012editions,wheresheparticipated in theselec-
tionof 350filmmakers fromall around theworld that attended theninthand
tenthedition. Recentlysheobtained the funding for post-productiondata-to-
film that gives theMexican Instituteof Film IMCINE for theshort “Sueña“
(Dream!)whichparticipated inseveral film festivals in2012.
