During the third edition of
Talent Campus Guadalajara,
we will have lectures, round
tables, specialized workshops,
film screenings, meetings with
experts, visits to the FICG’s
Ibero-American filmmarket, and
a space for drafting film reviews:
Talent Press Guadalajara.
Additionally, for the first time
we will present theTalent
CoproductionMeeting.
Lectures
World-renownedfilmmakersshare their knowledge inapersonal exploration
and learningprocessof audiovisual artsandexplain thedifferent techniques
andmethodologies theyuse in theirwork ina lecture focusedon the
proposed topic.
Round tables
Expertsof the international film industrywithdifferent background, culture,
andcreative tendency talkabout thevaried techniques, information, and
practiceof theproposed topic that eachof themhasexperienced in their
personal learningpath infilm.
Workshops
Expertsof the international film industrypresent their knowledgeand
experience inan intensiveanalysisand improvementworkshopso that the
participantscandevelop their knowledge inaspecificpractice, encouraging
an immediateor subsequent result.
Filmscreenings
Assistance for thescreeningof filmscompeting in theFICG, andafterwards,
there isa lecturewith thedirectorwith thepurposeof openingupaspace for
dialogueandspecificquestionsabout thematerial viewed.

Important internationally renownedfiguresof thefilm industryoffer their
timeandknowledge inorder toclarifyspecificdoubtsandgiveadviceon the
methodology to follow todevelop ideas for futureprojectsbrought forward
by theparticipants.Onlyfifteencanenroll soas toprovidecloser contact
with theexpert andhaveenough time toanswer all of thedoubtspresented.
Visits to the ibero-americanmarket
Thestudentsof TCGwill attend theFICG’s Ibero-AmericanFilmMarket in
Guadalajara, guidedbyanexpert on thesubjectwhowill thoroughlyexplain
ina tour of thearea thedifferent negotiations that arecarriedout.
Talentpressguadalajara
TCGpresents the fourtheditionof Talent PressGuadalajara (TPG), an
event carriedout incollaborationwith the International Federationof Film
Critics (FIPRESCI),which invites journalists, communicationgraduates,
andemergingfilmcritics toahands-on trainingof filmcriticismunder the
guidanceof filmcriticsChiaraArroyo, JoséCarlosAvellar, andOrlandoMora.
Talent coproductionmeeting
TCG#5 incollaborationwith the IX Ibero-AmericanCoproductionMeeting
(Encuentro IberoamericanodeCoproduccionCinematográfica) of the
FICG, publishesanannouncement of selection tobepart of theTalent
CoproductionMeeting (TCM) pitchingexperiencewhere6 featurefilm
projects (previouslyselectedbyagroupof filmmakersandproducers
of acommitteeof theTCG#5)will be includedat thecatalogueof the
IX Ibero-AmericanCoproductionMeetingFICG28andpresented to the
cinematographic industryassistantsof theFICG. Thispracticeexperienceof
pitchingoffers to theselectedstudentsanopportunity toobtainproducers
andco-producers for their project.
Theannouncement isopen for PRODUCERSandDIRECTORSpreviously
selectedof theTCGwhohavea full-lengthfilmproject (documentaryor
fiction) ready tobepresented topossibleproducers (productiondossier:
registeredproducer anddirector, short andextendedsynopsis, budget,
provisional financingplanandan intention letter from thedirector). The
selectioncommitteeof theTCMhaselected the6most interestingand
solidprojects,whichwill bepart of an intensiveworkshopof pitching
withexclusive training for eachprojectwhichwill bepresentedasa
complementaryactivityof theTCG#5, thesameprojectswill bepresented in
oneopenpitchingsession for thedelegatesof cinematographic industrywho
attend theFICG28 (activitycalled: TALENTCOPRODUCTIONMEETING).
Thisactivitywill openaspace favorable tonetworking inorder toobtain
sponsoringandco-productions for theaforementioned featurefilmprojects.
Afterwards, theseprojectswill set updateswith the interesteddelegates to
fixapossiblecoproduction.
