Departamento de Imagen y
Sonido de la UdeG. En 2014 fundó
TARDÍGRADA junto a un grupo de
compañeros, cooperativa que ha
producido cortometrajes de ficción
y documental. Su documental
AURELIA Y PEDRO estrenó en
la sección GENERATION de
BERLINALE. Actualmente trabaja su
cortometraje LOS DESTERRADOS
HIJOS DE EVA y el guion de
largometraje LAS LLAMADAS
PERDIDAS, apoyado por la beca
Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA.
Mexican, he is a graduate from the
Department of Image and Sound
of Universidad de Guadalajara. In
2014 he founded TARDÍGRADA
alongside with a group of classmates;
an organization which has produced
fiction short films and documentaries.
His documentary AURELIA Y PEDRO
premiered in the GENERATION of
BERLINALE section. He is currently
working on his documentary LOS
DESTERRADOS HIJOS DE EVA
and the film script LAS LLAMADAS
PERDIDAS, supported by the Young
Creators scholarship from FONCA.
Egresado de la Universidad de la
Ciudad de Nueva York, además
cuenta una maestría en guión
y dirección de la Universidad
de Columbia. En 2012, fundó
la productora Fidelio Films. Su
cortometraje, RATITAS, ganó
mejor cortometraje en Brooklyn y
Monterrey. PERFIDIA, se presentó
en el Festival de San Sebastian, y
ganó Mejor Cortometraje Mexicano
en Guanajuato. Actualmente trabaja
en UNOS DÍAS AL SOL, guión
seleccionado al Curso de Desarrollo
de Proyectos Cinematográficos
Iberoamericanos de IBERMEDIA,
y EL PÁRAMO, su opera prima.
A graduate of the New York City
University, he also has an MA in
screenwriting and directing at the
University of Columbia. In 2012,
he founded the producer house
Fidelio Films. His short film, RATITAS,
won best short film in Brooklyn
and Monterrey. PERFIDIA was
presented at the San Sebastian
Festival, and won Best Mexican
Short Film in Guanajuato. He is
currently working in UNOS DIAS
AL SOL, script selected for the
Iberoamerican FilmDevelopmental
Project course of IBERMEDIA, and
EL PÁRAMO, his debut work.
