(AR), LA FUGA (Chile), CINEMA
TROPICAL (EU), entre otros. Actual
Editor en Jefe del DIARIO FICUNAM,
publicación del festival y parte del
Consejo Editorial del Riviera Maya
Film Festival. De manera paralela,
es Co-Fundador y Director de LA
OLA, una emergente distribuidora
cinematográfica enfocada en cine
alternativo.
Bachelor’s degree in Communication
Sciences, independent film
critic since 2010. He has
published in national platforms as
CONFABULARIO, EL UNIVERSAL,
BUTACA ANCHA and F.I.L.M.E., and
in an international level in OTROS
CINES (AR), LA FUGA (Chile),
CINEMA TROPICAL (EU), among
others. Current Editor-in-chief of the
DIARIO FICUNAM, publication of the
festival and the Editorial Board of the
Riviera Maya Film Festival. In parallel,
he is Co-Founder and Director of LA
OLA, an emerging film distributor
focused on alternative cinema.
Cubana, licenciada en Historia
del Arte por la Facultad de Artes
y Letras de la Universidad de La
Habana, donde trabaja como
profesora de la especialidad. Ha
sido editora de EDICIONES ICAIC
y de la revista CINE CUBANO, y
ha publicado textos dedicados al
análisis cinematográfico y de artes
plásticas tanto en este soporte
como en UPSALÓN y en los sitios
digitales CUBACINE y CUBANOW.
Actualmente investiga sobre la
construcción de identidades e
imaginarios utópicos/distópicos en
el cine.
She is Cuban, graduated in Art
History at the Faculty of Arts and
Letters of the University of Havana,
where she works as a teacher of arts.
She has been editor of ICAIC and
the magazine CINE CUBANO, and
has published texts devoted to film
analysis and visual arts both in this
stand and UPSALÓN and digital
sites as CUBACINE and CUBANOW.
She is currently researching about
the construction of identities and
utopian/dystopian imaginaries in film.
